Tullarmarine Airport is the second busiest airport in Australia, after Sydney, and the only international airport in Melbourne. Located 23km from the CBD of Melbourne, it serves passenger and freight airlines and serves as a hub to many transport and logistics businesses in the area.
Transportation to and from the Airport is served by Taxi and bus. the Skybus connects the Airport to the main bus terminal located at Southern Cross Station (Bus, Train) at the western end of the CBD. Both bus and taxi are caught outside the bottom level along Departure Dr. Touts are prohibited.
The lower level of the Terminal is for arrivals, baggage claim and checking by customs. Money change, car rentals, ATMs and a cafe are located within the international arrivals waiting area.
The upper level of the Terminal is for departures, and customs for arrivals. Check-in aisles are located immediately upon entering the Terminal. Domestic passengers can also use e-tickets to check-in. Shops and eateries precede the customs departure hall. Duty free good and rebates can be picked up after customs and additional stores and cafes are integrated with the departure gates. Internet access is available in the airport for a fee.
The top level of the Terminal includes waiting lounges and airport offices.
