Overlooking Victoria Habour, the Peak is the perfect place to take that photograph of Hong Kong's vertical skyline. The best time to visit is at night when the building lights are on and to catch the nightly Light and Sound show. Having diner at one of the restaurants is a popular choice - either book ahead or be prepared to wait. Visitors must purchase tickets to go up to the skydeck which provides the best view of Hong Kong in any direction. Binoculars and professional photographers charge additional fees. The Peak can be reached via bus or a special tourist tram that takes a step route up and down the hill, or by taxi. The Peak contains a galleria behind the lookout tower with tourist focused stores including souvenirs, camera equipment and clothes. There is a small history museum. Eight restaurants and cafes cater to any need in the galleria and tower. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Peak
