The APT tour began with a morning flight from Melbourne to Broome, arriving to a very warm sunny town mostly closed for the weekend.  In the evening, I went to Town beach to see (I hoped) the much lauded Staircase to the Moon.  Sadly, cloud cover blocked what should have been a great Kodak moment.
